Konstantinos is the Chief Executive Officer of Doukas School (www.doukas.gr), a private education institution with a tradition of 97 years. As a third generation owner, previously or parallel with his work at the school, Konstantinos held several teaching, research and administrative positions in the private or governmental sector, specifically as • Systems Manager Assistant at the TC Computer Lab of Columbia University (NYC) • Scientific Consultant to Project Athena at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston, MA) • President & CEO, at the Information Society SA (www.ktpae.gr). A company owned by the Greek government that designed and implemented more than 1bn euro EEC projects in the IT sector As an entrepreneur, he has founded several successful start-up companies, most of them still in operation, mainly in the area of technological innovations, use of ICT in education and digital marketing services. He holds an Electrical Engineering BSc from the National Technical University of Athens and an MA in Communications, Computers and Technology in Education from Columbia University. He was born in 1964 and has a family with 3 kids.

Constantine is an entrepreneur in the education, professional training & consulting industry. He is founder of StudySmart.gr® a company offering professional qualifications training seminars, workshops & information on education, educational systems and certifications. He is also International Curriculum Development Expert for PwC in the CEE and the Middle East. He has extensive experience in business start - ups, education and professional training & development by setting up Intercollege Globaltraining in Greece in the late 1990’s serving as a Partner & Executive Director for a decade, before helping develop and leading one of the first academies for PwC. Constantine has also done work with PwC’s Global Steering Committee for Private Company Services and has developed the curriculum, methodology and mapping procedure for PwC’s Mini MBA programme being offered in close to 10 countries. He has delivered over 8,000 hours of academic and professional training teaching for the University of Strathclyde’s, Henley’s, Nottingham Business School’s and Surrey’s MBA programmes and on ACCA, CIMA, CIA and SHRM programmes in over 25 countries. He holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Connecticut, a Masters and a Doctorate from the University of Surrey, a Diploma in Corporate Governance (ACCA), is a Fellow RSA UK, a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consultants UK and a Senior Certified Professional from SHRM.

Mr. Christakos was born in Athens and studied Law at the University of Athens (LLB, Law). At the same time (1986-1988) he received a Diploma in Programming and Information Systems Analysis from Data Rank Corp. and founded a private software development company, which he managed until April 2004. He continued his studies at postgraduate level, gaining a Degree in Economics (MSc Finance) in 2001 from the University Strathclyde. In 2008 he became certified in Investment Management from the FCA, UK (Certificate in Investment Management (CertIM)). His professional career began as a computer expert and then as the founder and CEO of his own software development company (1989), which he sold in 1999 and managed until April 2004.  During the period from November 2004 to September 2010 he worked for the Greek government (Ministry of Economy and Finance, European Union co-funded projects) and has funded and managed hundreds of projects in Education that involved equipment, networking, training of teachers and digital content to create an educational system for the 21st century. The aim was to adapt the education system to the requirements of the digital age and to increase the use of new technologies in education, networking of schools, universities and the academic community (including administrations), training of teachers and pupils, and developing digital educational content. From October 2010 to September 2012, he worked at KPMG as a Senior Manager while in October 2012, he founded and managed his own consulting company working with international Hedge Funds and implementing Business Plans, Financial Studies, Feasibility Studies and Cost-Benefit Analysis, Marketing and sales for various clients. During his career, he has launched successful start-ups in the sectors of ICT, Construction, Finance and Energy and has helped many others create and grow their businesses. In January 2017 he joined SoFIA Education Experts as a CEO.
